Rosemary Crawford is a candidate for Judge, Court of Common Pleas, Allegheny County in order to make a difference in the lives of children and families in our region.  When elected she will likely be assigned to the Family Division where she can have a positive impact on children – many who face mental health issues as well as trauma in their young lives.  Rosemary also want to serve the senior citizens who face dementia, elder abuse, and individuals facing opioid addiction, and bullying behavior.

Pro bono representation of abused individuals in Protection from Abuse matters via the Neighborhood Legal Services

Neighborhood Legal Services Board Member, and Former Chair of the Priorities Committee,which set the goals for the region to provide free and low cost legal services to the poor.

Past Treasurer of Pennsylvania Legal Services, which provides free and lost cost legal services for the poor on a Statewide basis.

Former Director of Legal Resources for the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh, which provide counseling services free of charge on legal matters and created the 100 Lawyers Program to provide free family law legal services.

Mentor for the Beverly Jewel Wallace Program providing etiquette training to children in the Public Housing Community.

Drafted the Jonny Gammage Scholarship Essay Question.

Member of the Planning Committee for the Summit Against Racism.

Past Board Member of the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council, advocating for literacy.

Past Board Member of I Dream A World, advocating for youth in performance arts.

Board Member of a Peace of Mind, which strives to improve mental health of the community.
